Our Story
History and Background
Take Control Movement was founded by Arlene, an immigrant who grew up as an orphan. She has dedicated much of her life to volunteering at orphanages around the world, inspiring her mission to connect with communities that have little to no resources. Her journey led to the creation of Take Control Movement, with a focus on providing crucial support for ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) individuals and their families.
Community Impact
Take Control Movement supports schools and organizations by providing education, training, and resources. We focus on foster homes, charter schools, and non-profits organizations, helping them uplift ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) individuals. We assess our impact through partnerships with these groups, using feedback from students and educators to refine our approach and ensure we deliver meaningful support.
Core Values
At Take Control Movement, we stand for those who don't have a voice in this world. We aim to highlight the intelligence and potential of the neurodiverse community. Our core values include a strong work ethic—exemplified by Arlene's journey—honesty, and gratitude for the opportunity to succeed. We believe in creating meaningful roles for individuals with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), offering them positions like movement specialist assistants, rather than limiting them to low-level jobs.
